Story.

I grew up obsessed with computers and technology. I started programming when I was 14 years old and became a Software Engineering building games at EA. I worked on 5 titles across 4 different platforms, starting as a general gameplay programmer and graduated to pipeline tools and animation programming.

My world expanded as I met more founders building startups and started learning more about company building and VC. I found the energy of founder infectious and I knew I had to be a part of the ecosystem. I joined OMERS Ventures and devoted myself to learning about founders, startups, an investing.

After years on the VC side, I moved into an operating role and joined Shopify to lead Corporate Development. Shopify is a special place and my role and team grew into transformational acquisitions, partnerships and investments focused on accelerating Shopify's product roadmap. During my 9 years I led more than 30 transactions including structuring long-term partnerships, billion dollar acquisitions and $1B+ of investments.

As a software engineer, VC, operator, partner and acquirer I have a unique set of experiences working alongside hundreds of founders. With combination of experiences and leadership I thrive in navigating through complex and critical strategic situations. I invest in, advise and work with founders building the future.
